At the end of the day it's all about personal taste.
Agreed. For the record, I am not buying the Hulk Vs. Wolverine Maquette. I just used it as an example of a recent maquette that was of comparable size to this piece. As I said this is a great looking piece but I don't see the value of it matching the price. It's great that you do. It will definitely be a nice piece for Iron Giant fans.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

It looks incredible, but we already knew that. Price is kind of what I expected. A year or two ago I wouldn't have even had to think about hitting the order button. These days I'm trying to stick with the licenses I really love so I'll have to think about it. I'd love one though, it's spectacular...

Love it, they didn't go overboard on price IMO.

This will make my short list for sure.

I think this is overpriced. I wasn't going to buy it regardless, but it doesn't seem like a $700 statue to me.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

After the shockingly high price for Wolf Preddy LSB, anytime I see a maquette in the same price range, I think 'cheap'. Well played Sideshow, well played

Always loved IG, but just not at $700...

Likely a piece I'd pick up down the line and yet likely a piece I'd pass on entirely if I couldn't get the EX for the 'S' when it comes time to me picking it up...

was excited and wanted this

then the reveal happened and i saw the price

now i am not so excited anymore.

The prime1 classic optimus and megatron is only $200 more, must be joking on the price for such a simple sculpt/paint scheme.

I'm hoping they nail the rust, paint, grit, and details that are in this proto. Especially for the price!
