Oh and Paul if you see this, is there any chance of using translucent resin for the face? You may as well make this the ultimate robo 1:1 especially as toynami has experience in painting translucent resin with the stuff they have done for Ecc.

Yep this needs to be ecc quality. I'm pretty sure chronicle can do it.

This is huge. H U G E.
Hope they get the original painter like they did for the 1:2.
Have no mercy and make no compromises.

Hope they use translucent resin for the face, a fully acrylic visor and a RoboCop 1 & 2 paint scheme version.
Glad they are doing a closed mouth (angry) version, so no worries about the teeth..

That's the only thing I'm worried about as it can so easily go wrong. Personally I'd just take a cast of the lifecast they have and call it a day, that way the likeness is 100% no question. But as soon as you start tweaking the facial expression that 100% likeness is gone, plus for most of the film robo was expressionless anyway so for this particular character I think it's the best way to go.

Hmm pretty sure under a grand and it would look like crap so I'd be out.
If they can really do it right then I hope they spare no expense. There are already enough mediocre RoboCop products.
Frugality is what the 1/2 is for.

So is this going to be a battle damaged version with removable helmet and chin/neckguard?
If there's going to be another lifesize Robo bust, then GO ALL OUT!

"Frugality" 😅 Let's say around 1200 dollars. CoolProps managed a great P2 bust for that.
