I don't think the Cape or shoulders are pvc.very heavy to me

You just can't cast things like Arthas' helmet in polystone for mass production, it'd be nightmare for breaks.....as would all the other spikes on him and delicate pieces...
That's why bits of illidan like his hair etc are cast in the same material, it looks the same but you get none of the headaches with breaks.

It's not the spikes, i think the spike was actually not pvc if i remember correctly (he's in box so can't check). It's everything else - his big sword was completely cheap plastic that looked horrible close up, among many other parts.
If blizzard made this i can 100% guarantee his sword will NOT be plastic. It's just typical sideshow shortcuts to save some production cost.

I have fully repaired an Arthas statue and the only pvc parts are the leather straps, helmet and sword. everything else is polystone
