You're more than welcome to look up pictures of the screen-used suit and see for yourself that the thigh armor is in fact placed on the outer thighs, not the quads.

Not a single predator statue (of the main 4 biggies released) is accurate, not even by Steve wangs hand or Stan winstons eyes has one been done accurate justice because it's impossible. The first film the suit was falling a part, nothing about it is accurate.

You think it's impossible to make an accurate predator statue? Man, Sideshow must love you.
Had Steve Wang
wanted the Cinemaquette piece to be accurate, it would have been. That statue was his own idea of how the predator should have appeared.
The SWS Maquette has some proportional issues here and there, specifically with the plasma caster, but the head sculpt IS accurate. If they put the level of accuracy of the SWS Maquette into this new Maquette, I'd buy it. No lie.
I'm not sure what you mean by "the suit was falling apart" or how that affects the accuracy argument since the suit had no obvious changes or differences in any scene of the film.

If that were true, I would have pre-ordered.
I see you've edited your post:

Why do you think we want perfection? I, and pretty much everyone else who has made a complaint, would be happy with this statue if the thigh armor was where it belonged and the head sculpts weren't so inaccurate. The paint looks great, I love the pose, base is what I'd expect from a P1 collectible, etc.
