Does Mystique shapeshifter to the point of forming viable sperm? I don’t think so. I’ve always taken her shape-shifting to be an external change, not an internal one. At most she can match their voice. For a time, she wasn’t even able to mask her smell from Wolverine. I highly doubt she would ever be able to provide sperm to create a child, she would have to still be the egg donor in all situations.

If I recall, if she takes the shape of a large person it even more taxing on her.

Well maybe mystique would’ve shape shifted into the form of a very short man who didn’t weigh a lot so maybe that’s how she would’ve been able to impregnant Destiny
Yeah, whatever the science behind it could be, mmk123 is right, Claremont’s original plan was to have Mystique be Nightcrawler’s father and Destiny be his mother. There’s tons of articles about and quotes from Claremont himself.

SDGuy gave us the challenge of reaching 150pages before a reveal, at times we might be derailed. I enjoy these types of comic book talks, after all it is a forum based on statues and comics.

However, to get this back on track -

Looks like Bottleneck Gallery might be doing an X-Men #1 lenticular print...

And if I'd seen this one from Grey Matter Art before the original cover, I never would have thought the costume was white.

The prints are going up tomorrow and they're foil covers. The old school is a timed release while the modern is limited to 200 copies.

Thanks for sharing, I’m likely getting in on this. The modern is cool, if I get one I get one, but I dig the nostalgia of the old school colors and prefer the art as originally intended.

Thanks for the heads up. I haven't seen any prints on foil paper. Anyone know what that will look like? Is it a shimmer over the print or just the borders around the edge are shiny?

I love the original art, but I love Ian MacDonald's remake even more.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Where did you see that lenticular print announcement? I can’t find it on Bottlenecks site.

They didn't announce one. They announced the foil prints I posted above.
