Ok, just finished cleaning our garage out.
Last week our neighbor (whose town home adjoins ours) had some contractors in to fix her roof. They confused our house for hers, and kept climbing our roof. In doing so, they damaged badly the roof that was over the second story patio we had. They covered up their mistake and did not tell us a single thing. We didn't even know, since the patio was in the guest room and we do not go in there often. We finally noticed it Saturday when we had the HOA over our home to point out some unrelated wood damage we needed repaired.
Since it was saturday we left a voice mail for the contractor to fix this mistake. Monday he agreed, and said he would come over Tuesday. But, it rained hard Monday night, and the water ended up flooding the garage that the patio is above.
The contractor has already had his team fix the damaged roof (though it was a bit shoddy), and says he will fix our garage. However, the flood ruined some of our collectibles. My Batman: The animated series lithograph I've had for probably 15 years is destroyed, as is lithograph Jeff has had for about the same time. He also had some transformers damaged, but not too badly.
Fortunately I had some art in the garage that was not reached, and I'm very happy these were not affected.
Thanks for letting me vent, guys.

Wow that's HORRIBLE Mike
I hope you get it all sorted out, sounds like some of the stuff is almost irreplaceable though That really sucks.
Hope you only hate US roofers, we aren't all that dishonest
