Considering there is a flavor of batman for everyone on the market not sure why the purists are getting so annoyed.
I have said it before and I will say it again sculptors are artists too , much like comic book artists. This is their take on Batman, this wasn't made to capture the classic batman look to sell to hardcore comic book purists.

All that said I agree this Batman has way more problems than just his outfit.

Well said. Not disappointed that SS did their own thang with Bats. I like half of it. The bottom half though is atrocious. Actually, I like the boots. But that remaining 25% of the statue is REALLY bad. An overtextured chappy mess.

Some or you guys are just insane. You don't have a clue what you want. In one thread it's "I wish sideshow were like xm" and the next day its"bohoo sideshow are trying to be like xm"... what the ----. Sideshow paved the way for these other companies so if you're gonna play that game, I'll say anyone making 1/4 scale statues are sideshow copycats... durp durp.

To me the excessive straps, belt buckles, and fully sculpted pieces signify a complete change in style from old Sideshow. There is putting their own twist on things (see Thanos Maquette) and then there is copying XM (see new DD and Cap).
Never ever wanted for SS to turn into XM. Don’t know what you are saying there. A lot of people wanted Sideshow to be to be like XM in regards to edition size, listening to customer feedback, quality control, and selection of characters. Haven’t seen that many posts asking for more belt buckles. So no don’t see what you are implying.

Very nice! Wholeheartedly agree!
That is the costume ...and fully sculpted piece I would love in 1/4 scale. Doesn't have to be the same pose ...and perhaps add a bit of texture to the costume ...and make it in polystone ...and that would be an awesome Batman PF.
I have that 1/6 scale Koto Batman as well. Love it!
