... I wonder how ridiculous airfare is two weeks out; I bought tickets to NYCC two weeks out from it in 2010... haha... ouch.

Not sure where you live in Cali, but from San Fran to Charlotte, Thursday June 21st thru Sunday the 23rd, prices on Expedia were $525-650. I am sure my brother wouldn't mind if you crashed with us, makes it cheaper.

Oooh.. that's reasonable; I'm in San Luis Obispo, three hours south of SF and three hours north of L.A.. People from both buy their vacation homes here.. beach/wine community.

Which means cost of living is insane.. which means I need to move.

I'll look into it, Mike! That's still "up there" in cost, with bills to pay, etc., but not unheard of. Thanks for the offer.

If that Mr. Sinister @sshole wouldn't have destroyed my Ebay account making it so I can't list more than $400 a month, I'd sell a surfboard by the end of the day. Got tired of asking them to fix it on Ebay's end.

Couldn't you create a new eBay account? Or have a friend sell it for you? I have never heard of a $400 monthly limit on sales, but I haven't done much with eBay for quite a while.
