Well you can call me an art snob if you want. But I've looked at the hand drawn cards on Ebay. There were 3 Spider-Woman's. One went for $350, the other $175, and the other $135. Why are these that much..... For one I have never heard of any of the 3 artists that drew the card, and I now my art. In fact out of all the names mentioned that drew cards that I can remember I only heard of one.. Who the hell are they getting to sketch these???

I can't confirm this, but I heard well known artists like Art Adams and Mark Brooks got $25.00 per card. This ranges from 10 cards to 25 cards.
As stated earlier, the money made by the artists will be in the 10 blank cards they get back. These can easily sell for $300.00 a piece.

So basically you get 10 blank UD cards that say MM 07? then you get to draw whatever character and sell them? Sounds like a good deal to me! Especially for someone with your talent...

When I say good deal, I mean for the blank cards and not the $1.00 for each piece you did for the set... That sucks... I wondered how these companies make it worth the money to hire all of you guys to draw for them...

You have to take into account the exposure they get also.

Well the backs of the 10 blank cards will be slightly different from the backs of the sketch cards in the set. They will still say MM07 on them. When I get mine I'll post a pick so we can all see what they look like.
