New York Comic Con is coming up on us quickly, with a little over a month until the event! It’s about time for exclusives to be announced, and lo and behold Kotobukiya has just unveiled a recolor of their Tekken Bishoujo Asuka Kazama. However, this isn’t explicitly an NYCC exclusive: in fact, at the moment it’s limited to their Japanese webstore. But all the exclusive Bishoujos have gotten overseas releases, so Asuka will at the very least pop up on their US store. And like that limited Alisa, she might pop up at events!
This is a pretty simple recolor, basically a palette swap from blue to red. While blue is my favorite color, I have to admit that this fiery colorway fits with her altered face very well. She’ll retail for ¥6,200 ($59.99 for her eventual US release) and is slated to come out in November.

A lot of times, especially with imports etc., bbts will put up a random price that drops when the official price is announced. Hopefully, that's the case here, if not, that's highway robbery.

For that Asuka exclusive, I will wait for Koto to have it on their site. Then again, why haven't they announced it on their FB page? There were leaks of the SDCC 2012 Storm variant way before Koto announced it themselves. Kind of strange that retailers get images of bishoujo variants before Koto even announces them.

So this statue is exclusive for the European market and Japan only? Or will there be statues available for purchase at the Koto US site?
