Caved and ordered through spec fiction. Shipping was over $100!! Don't think I can buy many more at that price!

Yeah, sculpt is real nice from SS but I just really don't like the pose they've chosen...looks lopsided in the pics (too much for me to commit to, maybe I need to see one in person first).
Haven't seen pics of the Winter soldier version yet so maybe I'll wait although I prefer the look of the first movie.
I'm teetering on ordering the Xm one...

Ouch. I got 1 from SpecFiction too it was preordered, it was almost $100 cheaper. If you have to buy it from the US, Secret Compass had reasonable shipping last time I put a Capt in the cart and estimated shipping to be like 30ish bucks. If you are willing to get it from Singapore, it should be around $700. I personally don't mind getting directly from Singapore, XM have taken care of the customers in the US so far, regardless of where is the retailer. For $150 more, it's enough to ship it back if there is problem anyways.

I was shocked to see the shipping charge. After this piece I'm looking for another retailer unless they reimburse some of the shipping costs. I just wanted it ordered. I would've been a good customer to them too.

Keep in mind that XM is sold out of Capt., so 3rd party shops are going to start raising their prices on the few that are left...
As for BBTS prices, given how big they are they probably have shipping channels to get this over here cheaper... I'll be curious to see if they carry the future XM releases also..
The one I got from Spec Fiction was $811, that also included California tax since he's in cali.. otherwise it would of been $56 cheaper.

Yeah, if you are on the fence, it's time to decide soon or $800 would be good price in a couple months.
