While I don't mind the glossy lips, I do think it's odd to have lips glossier than eyes.

It's actually more helpful with the straps being vertical. You can use the straps as handles when pulling the styrofoam out of the art box. And the grooves for the straps act as airholes when pulling the styrofoam out of the art box. Airholes eliminates vacuum at the bottom of the box.

As good as the production piece looks, there is the usual sense that there is usual Sideshow/Factory downgrade, which is normal.

Comparing factory result with factory result, minus the usual proto-level hype-train, i still prefer the Ivy previous to the previous Ivy.

Good review...I would think they'd have replacement parts for this with it just now shipping, so even with the low ES, I'd be surprised if you couldn't get a replacement portrait. Keep us posted.
