This may be a blessing for me at least. With everything I already want this decision by Sideshow will save me $600 or so I could put towards another piece.

Thanks Sideshow!

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

So true!

Wish they had changed the Mystique PF instead ...giving us an extra long-haired portrait of Mystique.

Wasn't the original PF based on Jim Lee art?
And Jim Lee stopped illustrating for Marvel in 1991?
Why are people so intent on this new PF being based on Jim Lee art when the first one was?

"That is the Psylocke I know!"
Well, then go buy the original.
I grew up on the X-books too, but I would still appreciate something new.

Pretty sure the drawing is the only thing we will see from Cheetara. Or they will drop the line to another manufacturer like they did with MOTU, so we can blame tweeterhead for not continue this line... thanks SS

As i have said many times. Many OG sideshow pieces are not very good to me anyway. When most people think of Psylocke do they not think of the Jim Lee drawings? It could be I'm just a filthy casual and I'll own that but With this statue here at least the ship sailed on something completely new. IMHO the new portrait is not bad cause its different its bad cause its bad...lol Anyway if people like it all good enjoy.

At this point, I couldn't care less if they priced this piece at $999. It's already a pass for me because of this ugly new portrait. I already hated the base, now I hate the face too.

The Mark Books comiquette was based on it too. TBH, I'm sick to death of everyone doing Jim Lee era over and over and over.

I'm surprised Marvel even approves all these companies to re-hash this same crap again and again. There are plenty of good looks for these characters between 2000 and today.

I couldn't agree more. Like I said earlier in the Psylocke poll thread, no more Lee stuff. If statue companies want to create statues based on artist styles, there are plenty of great styles out there; Byrne and Perez, to name two.
