Now that I've seen all the options available this one is my favorite.
I prolly wont pay the going rate for one but we shall see.

I used to think XM's venom was great until I saw Prime 1's. Don't get me wrong, both are great...just like Prime 1's more with the tendrils all over the place and the portraits are pretty nice.

P1's just looks a little too cartoonish for me with the proportions even if comic accurate

I agree. I also laugh at the term comic accurate. Is there a standardized comic version of any character?

That combined with the sheer size kinda turned me off of the P1. I still like it but I prefer this one. Concept and base wise I think this one is much cooler.
As far as the exaggerated proportions I think both have them and should but P1's went a little to far for my taste.

I too think given all the options I'd prefer the XM. 2nd place goes to Prime1. However, given my financial status I will settle on the XM bust, I still think that one is my fav to be honest.

It's all personal taste, but if all things were equal I think the XM Venom is a notch ahead of the Prime1 version. but for US Customers, I think XM version is going for $1500 + $300 shipping so the real question is, is the XM version 2X better than the Prime1 version LOL!!

I would say no. US customers don't realize how good they got it. I think that's why there is a lot of hate towards XM.

I've got 4 XM pieces now and a 5th on preorder. Had to pay a premium on a few of them and they are spectacular. is there really a lot of hate from folks towards XM?

Good choice! I got the bust on order as well, and it's going to be awesome!
