People who say this doesn't look like Griffith have no idea how he looks or don't read the manga.

That's it.

Some of you people just hate hate hate Prime 1 for everything they do.

I’m really sad that the only way to get the helmeted portrait is to order from the P1 store, and that shipping to the US is $292.

That makes 2 of us. I am not completely sure I'll pick him up still, but getting the helmeted head could most likely help in making my decision.

if it helps you could look at it as paying $250 for a licensed "custom" potrait, that is right around what a custom portrait goes for. plus it will definitely retain its value because that store exclusive portrait will be something not a lot of people have

it does sting a little more though when the statue is already $1000

Precisely.
...compounded with the fact that Prime 1 has their grubby mitts way up in too many licenses I'm into. They're already getting so much of my hard earned moolah.

I'm more interested to hear the opinions of Japanese collectors, since they're not always in line with western tastes.

Id have to disagree, I think Griffith's portrait isn't well done. And I love P1 lol

Then he must have slept when it comes to AoW releases. I don't believe he looks over every P1 Piece and gives his final approval. Wish it was like this but as long as he doesn't say it himself it could be also marketing.

Back to the "EX Head". If I want to order it from P1 I'll have to pay about 1400-1500 EURO in the end (at least 1650 USD). I really think I will order a reg (for the first time) at a local store. I could safe about 300-400 Euro, especially cause P1 Pieces drop in price much the last months.
