I know, I am still searching for some news of it online, I was hoping someone else might have heard it as well. They did say more on the radio as far as a time line of sorts, but I want to find another source before I post anything else about the situation

That S.O.B., if you're going to kill yourself than fine but why involve anyone else in your weakness? Poor kid probably had no idea what was about to happen from the person he trusted most in his life. Bastard!

From Yahoo news:

Authorities also said they are investigating whether steroids may have been a factor in the deaths of Benoit, his wife and their 7-year-old son. Steroid abuse has been linked to depression, paranoia, and aggressive behavior or angry outbursts known as "roid rage."

...aw,no... jesus christ, no... I just can't believe this... I'm just stunned and numb after reading this... why in God's name kill the boy?!?... not justifying killing himelf and his wife, but why the boy?... I just don't know what else to say, except to once again say as I did in my earlier post... I hope he, his wife and son are at peace now... jesus christ...

Well since this is true. I hope that that piece of fu**ing sh*t rots in hell forever. You want to kill yourself then by all means go ahead and do it. Save the oxygen for the rest of us, but to take your wife and your INNOCENT 7 year old son's life. That is beyond madness. He was a steriod addicted loser and like the rest of the freaks that that shoot that sh*t he got what he deserved. It's just a shame that his family had to be taken along with him. My deepest condolences go out to the family members that are suffering from this tragedy.

I cannot believe this. This has to be some kind of steroid or some other drug induced thing because why would this man that everyone describes as this super family man kill his wife, kid and then himself???? Leaving behind 2 other children too! Maybe she was cheating on him. Who knows. This is ****ing horrible. Personally I have no pity for people that feel the need to take other people down with them. You want to pack it in like a loser fine, but don’t kill your wife and your kid you F’n dumb ass. This is a very sad story. I can’t believe this.

RIP Benoit. May God have mercy on your soul.

When I first heard the news last night I was shocked and speechless. Much like everyone here; I was a huge Benoit fan. After finding out this was a murder/suicide again I find myself speechless. I didn't know the man but he seemed like the type that was a stand up type of guy.

After this incident something has to change here. I've said this to my friends a bunch of times when discussing wrestling. WWE needs to start having off seasons for their superstars just like all other professional sports have an off season. To ask someone to spend 345 days of the year on the road year in and year out takes a huge strain on someone physically and mentally.

During this off season WWE can then institute the random drug tests and because of this incident, psychological evaluations. See if these guys are mentally fit to go out on the road for such an extended amount of time on a yearly basis. If they're dealing with heavy stuff...then it could be caught and the wrestler can seek help before something like this happens again.

This is a tragedy.

This is the most shocking and heartbreaking thing I've heard. I still can't believe these events took place.
