True but this is representing a specific scene from ESB. So shouldn't it be screen accurate. Don't get me wrong i've said it looks good and my opinion hasn't changed. However since this is likely to retail at $2000+ it's bound to be held to a higher scrutiny especially from collectors who want screen accurate maquettes.

This is very true but with the economy he way it is I cannot see them selling 1000 units that quickly. I don't think they have produced a full run on the most recent pieces. Are you attending the con. Maybe you can order at the show.

I was simply referring to Gino's vast knowledge of the subject.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Nah not this year. I'm fairly certain Vader won't be available for pre-order at the con. Its CM's tradition to preview new Volumes at the con and have it released for pre-order on their site following the months ahead.

I am thankfully not an accuracy junkie. as long as the final product looks cool and is well crafted I will purchase it (of course price being a consideration).

I just watched the video of the CM Vader over at CBD and it looks ever better than the pics!

I really cannot wait for this one.

the gentle giant one is probably screen accurate as it is digitally scanned from the costume. it looks like crap.

If you want to skip directly to Vader, he appears at 2:25 in the footage.
