If you saw a heat wave, would you wave back?

LED in the lightning would be cool but how applicable was it in this sculpt?
Very applicable IMO, for the reason I stated

The lighting and the way it's hitting and shattering the base reminds me a lot of the style used in the original animated Wonder Woman movie.... https://youtu.be/1d8t0loQTAI

I feel a little bad for sideshow because on paper, this is what I thought I wanted. Miller Batman is my favorite Batman, and the cover of issue #1 is one of my favorite covers--understated and negative space. But now that they give me what I wanted, it turns out I don't want it because it seems that the elements that made it an awesome cover just don't translate. Just looks cheesy in statue form, imo. Hope people buy it because I appreciate the effort, but pass for me.

I meant could it be made into the support and still achieve a desired result.

I think it’s safe to say this statue is “based on” the artwork as opposed to a direct translation. It’s angled wrong compared to the comic art (did they try to get it closer to the comic art?). And the cape resembles wings in the comic art. I like what sideshow did with the cape but they did their own thing. And of course the big flat slab of lighting.

It’s a cool idea bringing this to 3D art but it’s supposed to be a blacked out silhouette.

The lighting piece must be very thick to support Batman. I like Batman but not the lighting at all. Pass for me.

If the sculpts left arm had a fist and his legs were firmly planted on a flat surface I would probably get this.

I like it! Love the sculpt, that's a mean looking Batman. While I'm still not convinced by the lightning, I do think once we see the full reveal, the complete base and the lightning striking it behind Bats, the stone shattering, rubble in the air! It will look awesome

I think I'm a bit excited about this piece
