The rover Perseverance is now on Mars. We'll probably have some fresh news soon, when the rover will reach the palace of Dejah. Be patient.

This is one of those pieces where paint application will matter a whole lot. QC team better work overtime staring at several thousand Deja's....

Nah they know they will sell them either way, and they'd much prefer they go to less experienced collectors than those of us seasoned enough to see the differences.

Okay didn't go back far enough to be sure how that came to be.
Either way what they showed as a paint sample a full year prior to delivery could well be very different from what is produced next month or so.
Sometimes when they update the web page's pics from proto to production it's when they start shipping out and they use the same assembly line one for their unboxing.
There's a lot to go wrong on this statue's paint so still have to hold out for the unboxing then.

Well, my wife tells me this *was* my Christmas present, then it was my Valentine’s Day present, and now (May-July), it’s my birthday present... she’s saving money, not buying me other presents!
Seriously, though I’m disappointed in the delivery pushback, I just went over to admire the SS statues I already have, and I feel better.
