Oblivion 9/10. Rarely has a movie looked more beautiful. Stunning set design, visual effects and outstanding audio. The sound track was similar to Legacy yet felt different and for me fitted the movie perfectly. The director Joseph Kosinski is fast becoming one of my favourite Directors and this is one of Tom Cruises best movies in years. While nothing original the story is effective. This movie has been a very nice surprise for me as it kinda flew under the radar with everything else coming out this year.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Zero Dark Thirty - 7/10 Talk about overrating a movie! It was ok but nothing special.

Of the four films we've been given, I like it by FAR the least; wouldn't even classify it in the same league as the other three.

It seems like PJ wanted to cram elements of each of the previous three movies into this ONE movie (to me, anyways). That made it too "busy".

I've only seen it once in theaters, and don't plan on buyin' it on BD any time soon; maybe if the second one slows down a bit I'll grab 'em both, but as it stands.. the first one was like "what ELSE can we throw in this thing?!" mentality.

Granted, I haven't read the book in decades, but was it really THAT busy?

Oblivion - 3/5

Visuals were quite nice but the story didn't engage me enough to keep me interested.
