[QUOTE=Indomitus;5939002]This is one of those pieces where paint application will matter a whole lot. QC team better work overtime staring at several thousand Deja's....

I keep looking at this photo of the prototype and I keep thinking....how the heck is the factory gonna replicate that paint application. If the skin tone is off......well, let’s just say that on this piece, there is very little room for error.

Actually, based on people's comments and ref images that I've seen, there is a pretty broad range of what people want/expect... from just kinda tan, to really red. I don't think everyone agrees on the "right red".

And from what I recall, I think most of us were happy with the production sample skin tone they showed last year.

We do not know who sculpted Power Girl or Storm?
Maybe Will Harbottle sculpted one of those?

Ahhh, I forgot they teased a production sample last year. I had to go back and look. IMO, the production sample shown looks just fine. This undoubtedly went to the best painters at the factory.

Mark Newman took credit for Storm soon after the silhouette was revealed.

Jesus, if SS can pull this off(?), specifically paint apps, it would be the game changer.

So many great sculpts ruined, or seriously compromised by shoddy paint has been heart breaking to witness over the years. They solve that, we got it made.
