Yeah, I was afraid of that; my assumption is since the last game was so "team-building heavy" (which I didn't mind one bit), this one would trim down for more story.
I have SurraG, so I'm good.. Anyone else is icing.

True, but I didn't want to act the part of hypocrite since I made a stink about spoilers.
But yeah.. agreed; he's an awesome character.

The "From the Ashes" dlc character is pretty sweet, too.

Just finished the game......don't know what to think right now.
I always feared that the multiplayer component would compromise the single player campaign, and from what I've heard I was right.
I think it's disgusting that you are forced to play MP (something I have no interest in) in order to get an 'optimal' ending for one of the greatest single player game franchises.

You aren't forced to play MP, you can get the same version of that ending on a second playthrough or by importing a character and what it adds is one of the things I didn't enjoy about the ending, so it's not necessarily the optimal one!

There is no optimal end, all the choices suck and grant near identically pointless cutscenes

By optimal I mean the most complete, whether it be happy or sad.

a half second flash of something added on to the same stupid cutscene doesn't cut it for me
