Totally agree with your assessment on IM3 Luminous. I was disappointed as well but its still enjoyable enough to warrant a 7/10 from me.

Epic - 6.5/10 - It wasn't. But, my kids loved it.
Mama - 7/10 - Fell apart at the end ... & a few questions were left unanswered, but still, It had some great spooky moments & a fun ghoulish/ghost/monster chic.
Still haven't seen Trek ... & I'm dyin' to.

So to say 7/10 is "far too generous" feels a bit extreme in my opinion.
While there may be flaws in a film that might disappoint me, I always try and keep in mind what it does manage to do right. While Iron Man 3 could have easily been a better a movie, especially when we consider the caliber of the previous Marvel films, it is by no means a horrible movie.

I just felt the comments below were pretty harsh (but justifiably so) for a movie rated 7/10. Still, more power to you and I'm glad you liked the movie this much. I certainly didn't.

If all of that wasn't enough, there was the downright disrespectful treatment of one of Iron Man's most formidable and dangerous arch nemesis'. Whoever thought that was a good idea, should clearly not be involved in any future comic book adaptations...
