Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Thanks, guys.

Skin tones are definitely challenging and I've found a new to paint them which is cool.

Honestly I couldn't tell you exactly what colors I used exactly as there were about 12-15 layers of paint to achieve that look.
What I did was I painted him from dark to light, gradually building up my colors using transparent paints. I have the whole range of skin tones from Garage Kit Colors and I always keep mixing them. I never use them right out of the bottle.

Pastels were also used quite a bit. They make a real difference imho

cool thanks for the info i guess you just have to play with the skin tones to bring them out in certain ways .. im almost finished getting all the supplies i need to start tackling my kits hopefully i dont ruin them ha the only thing that makes me nervous is the skin tones

and i like the idea of using pastels im assuming its for subtle shading?

I always use dry pastels. Using water makes them all muddy

I use pastels to enhance what I've done with the airbrush. Could be shading or simply adding a little color here and there. Red can be useful on the cheeks, chest, elbows, etc
The possibilities are endless

All right, last update before final!

Awesome job!

The Protoz Sagat sculpt is the best Sagat representation and so beautiful when treated right.
