All in the name of “being helpful”.
Here’s why something like this morning really annoys me: Guy posts that HAUNT is a code that may be active. OK cool. But then let’s say SS posts an active code only good for a half hour. If I didn’t check the thread to mark the HAUNT post as Read, you miss out on the actual active code.
The point of the thread is to work together. Yes, it’s just a little bitty code, but when you act foolishly like that and post without discretion, who are you really helping? If this was a new concept, yeah, no skin off my back. But c’mon. Be mindful of other people here. Don’t get all Leeroy Jenkins on us by going “I FOUND A CODE HERE IT IS I’M NOT READING!”

You're seriously telling those trying to be helpful to "be mindful of other people here"? You've been consistently losing your ---- anytime someone posts in that thread.
New guy sees a thread titled "reward codes". He thinks he may have found a potential future code. He posts said code in the thread to be helpful.
You get an email, check the thread, realize it's a false alarm, go back about your day. That whole action takes less than 10 seconds.
How are you so upset about this? It's not like you're missing out on the free money either, you're still getting alerted when valid codes are posted.
How much free cash have you made in the past few days from subscribing to that thread?
