So true. This is even worse than the "Maracanazo" to Brazilian minds and souls.

I don't have a solution but I admire the problem.

The way the Germans played yesterday, it looks difficult for any of the 2 remaining teams to beat them.
I'm for Argentina, though logic states that only Louis Van Gaal can come up with some strategy that can beat the German Juggernaut !

I haven't seen David Luiz that upset since Bart and Lisa got him sent to prison.

IF that's true (which I don't believe), that's appalling. And IF they were doing it as a protest to the socio-economic issues going on in the country, they went about it the wrong way. Like it or not, the World Cup was built and hosted there -- oh and the Olympics are coming. So it would have been a better honor to play as hard as possible and bring the trophy home for those who pour their hearts and bodies out for the team.
Again, I don't believe they threw the match. I do believe they were one of the weaker teams Brazil has put on the pitch. And with the loss of two of their strongest players -- it was too much. Couple that with being down a quick two goals and morale isn't going to last.

It's been all Argentina possession, but the Dutch are dangerous on the counter attack.
