Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

You've got a point there!

basicly do you think that the soul leaves the body as soon as the zombie takes over or are they trapped in their until the zombie is properly destroyed? do you get to go off to heaven as soon as you die and look down at your body eatting people, or are you stuck inside till somebody finally puts you down....thoughts?

In my opinion once you die the Soul no longer inhabits the meat. Therefore when approached by a zombie you gotta do what you gotta do unlike a certain character in the first episode.

Saturday past me and some friends were talking about the walking dead and what we could bring ourselves to do if that Bazinga!Bazinga!Bazinga!Bazinga! actually happened.
My buddy asks me if I would shoot my own Mother if she was a zombie...I did not hesitate and answered "Yes". My friend was taken back and I just explained that the zombie is no longer my Mother and needs to be put down before I'm dinner as simple as that.
hence no Soul...moved on.

Right on. Put them out of their "misery", such as it is... like Rick did before he left town.
Those zombies may seem mindless, but who knows what's going on in their rotten heads? I'd think that, at that point, finishing them off would be a show of mercy.

IMO he has completely lost the magic he possessed when he pioneered the genre.

Survival of the Dead was awful. An embarrassment. I'm not really shedding any tears Romero wouldn't direct an episode of this show.
