Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I always thought he was roughly between 10 to 12 feet tall. I am so tempted to pick this guy up. I love the look and the exclusive uncursed GS. It's a shame the Greatshield wasn't also included, but then you'd probably have to switch out his arms as well. Can't wait to see Sif as well!

If I had to take a wild guess, the Greatshield might be the exclusive for the upcoming Sif, hopefully

Rewatching the videos makes me wish I was a fan/knew of him.

If you haven't played the first Dark Souls game, then you have to!

I love watching lore vids for the souls games. I could spend hours (and have) watching them.

We really need someone to measure the distance from head diagonally to bottom of foot to get a true understanding of this pieces height. Currently it equates to 6ft 3 inch at crouching stance. So standing he could be significantly taller.

Artorias only grew in game once he assimliated a character, so im assuming this pieces' height has been taken from his human size and not the boss fight size where he was enlarged.

And please no 1/5 scale ever for this line. I want to be able to see the amazing detail in this piece with presence. not scaled down.
What about "bland" statues blown up to 1/4? Still plenty of detail to be enjoyed in 1/5. See what SS has done with their MotU line. And even before that with their comiquettes. Their Punisher 1/5 blows away their 1/4 and is definitely more detailed.

Totally agree. Increasing scale (particularly from 1/6 or 1/5 to 1/4) does in no way guarantee more detail. It's all about the artists' ability to incorporate "fine" detailing on a smaller size. This is much easier to do for larger scales (for obvious reasons) BUT it means that the amount and intricacy of that detailing has to be proportional with a given scale. In almost all instances this is not the case.
