It's good & bad from my perspective. Good in that I like the shorter wait, bad in that it's much more difficult to plan out your collecting budget.

I wish the wait times were longer but not for financial reasons. If Weta messes up on some aspect of a statue it's too late to do anything about it by the time it's noticed. I'm not thrilled by the 1-1.5 year wait times of Prime 1 statues but it does allow them to correct any mistakes/flaws prior to shipping.

I would think that Weta puts these in production 8 months to a year before pre order. I would think they still have time to fix issues and just push out the pre order date.

Got my Saruman,Lurtz, dol guldur colonnade and 2 south courtyards instead of 1 north and south,..sent them message asking for return of a south for a north

I'm sure they will work it out for you. I got my Lurtz, Azog and Balrog. Still waiting on my Staff and shipping notice for the 1/1 Gollum, which seems to be taking for ever.

we'll see...this is actually my first in the Weta Complaint dept....I've bought almost all they produced since the Argonath...my first email for customer support to them

They are also priced accordingly. I think WETA stuff is overpriced for what you get. Not bad, just priced way higher than other companies for the same amount of polystone. But I get that they have a forgiving, captive audience with LOTR.
