It's hard to do silver paint right...though they could add silver powder to the casting and then polish it ..if you don't mind paying for that. Lol

Chrome is too reflective for my taste.

I feel like it's gotta be somewhat reflective. Captain Phasma was painted a matte silver and it did not look good at all. I almost wonder if they could do a matte silver w/shimmer and do a thick coat of semigloss.
Hmmm...

I've tried that. Any kind of finish on most metal paints immediately dulls them. The only time it's worked for me is when I've done full gloss over paint with metallic flecks in it, but that's a different look entirely.

Well... shoot. What about a resin epoxy with a silver dye? Lol. All out of ideas. I certainly hope whatever they do, they pull it off.

lol, I've never tried that...maybe when I have time and space to experiment. I have always wanted to do the Silver powder thing though. Basically when you make casting you coat it with silver powder first then pour in the resin. It bonds with the outside of the resin cast. Then you take a fine sand paper and lightly sand the entire piece then use a polish. It should come out super shiny.
Though the powder gets a little pricey and it's a ton of labor.

Whatever they do, not too much sheen or shine, no seam lines from switch outs, no screaming portrait, but rather a stoic Surfer commanding the cosmos. Pure. Simple.

I'm more terrified of the price than I would be of Galactus.
