So is this the aftermath of the two coming together and have babies? Don't know very much about this genre, so any info would help.

Hehe yep. In AVP one the Scar Predator fell victim to one of the Xenomorphs' Facehuggers. In the end of the film, the Hybrid Chestburster came out of the Predator. In the 2nd film AVP:R, the story continues. As the Predator ship blasts off Earth and orbits for a bit, the hybrid chestburster evolved into a full grown Predalien..yeah it was that fast. I think it was just mere minutes..not even close to an hour I think..which is ridiculous. Anywho, the story sucked but the design of the creature is magnificent.
