These 1/4 pieces are about $300 more then PCS 1/4 pieces(with shipping/tax), hard pill to swallow for many collectors.
None the less I secured both 1/4 Ryu pieces cuz they look amazing!

Also, it took a long time for people to realise PCS was a thing. All their original statues were easy to get at the time they came out.
I imagine after a few releases and Prototypez becoming more known for fully painted statues, the people will come and demand will be higher.

PCS was easy to get all the way up to 2013. Sideshow Ex Sagat was available for 2 weeks at an advertised 300 ES.

Is there a chance the classic could be more exclusive than evil ryu? I think it was mentioned that the ed would be cut off mid August. As of yesterday, I think there were still 610 available classic ryu's left in 1/4.
That would be crazy

If comparing Ryu statues between companies, one has to put into consideration that, when initially released, PCS 1st Ryu was readily available for months after launch. Even more so, retailers had them discounted before being officially sold out. It wasn't till the ebay sellers started shill bidding and relisting (something I experienced first hand) the same PCS statues over and over again did the community start to notice.
