Wow, so many great pieces! Congrats to my fellow Supanova Perth attendees

I had seen Wrothy's awesome additions but had not seen the full range of Ken's pick-ups - truly fabulous acquisitions for your collections! And I think you made the right decision Ken to go for the full figure from Dave Finch - he put in the work on it!

And I really enjoyed seeing Emily's pieces - great Magneto Bolo!

For me, I only got one piece because I'm saving up for San Diego next month. In fact, I didn't think I'd be getting it because I was very busy during the second day of the con helping out the organisers and arranging for Ashley Wood's Q&A and other "stuff" (like arranging to print more photos for signatures by Tom "Malfoy" Felton, James "Spike" Marsters etc.).

I'd earlier asked Dave Johnson about doing a Shanna piece but I saw how many commissions he had on his plate so I thought it wouldn't happen. However, last night after I got home from a preview screening of Transformers (don't waste your money), I caught up with Dave for a few drinks in the hotel lobby and he said "Hey man, I've got your Shanna" and pulled out his drawing pad to give me this awesome present as a thankyou for showing him around Perth -

I'll also be catching up with Dave and Meredith Finch next month in San Diego where Dave has kindly offered to create a Shanna piece for me there
Came out so great Roydster!! Congrats mate!!

We need to make a game of "Add the word ballon" to this picture.

Mine would be, "OMG, this cotton candy does wonders for my ashy, dry elbows."

It was Doc's kids, Luc and Charlotte's joint birthday party and he asked if I'd help out by running the fairy floss (cotton candy) maker. I fought against it, but eventually buckled only on the proviso that absolutely NO pics would be taken of me wearing it. One of the party guests was taking pics and snapped one without me knowing, he then tagged it on Suzi's Fb wall, Scottie spotted it, and the rest is history
