I caught wind of it before the hype. So I was at least able to enjoy it for it's shock value. A decent foreign flick, but it certainly isn't as amazing as it has been hyped up to be. Certainly don't need to own it.

Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

This is my quandary...never seen the original and interested in seeing this remake but I can't stand Lee.

I thought the original Old Boy was brilliantly disturbing, action packed, hugely surprising and highly enjoyable. I wouldn't waste my time with this remake.

I just added it to my Netflix. First time in the last 20 tries they actually had the movie I searched for available.

300: Rise of an empire: 8/10 - I always loved 300 and this one is basically more of the same. Visually it's fantastic and I love that it's moved to the sea battles but still has plenty of hack and slash. Green does a great job as does the rest of the (largely Aussie) cast. I'd actually considered trying out for the role of one of the Spartan warriors, but apparently they didn't have beer guts back then
