Thor - TDW = 7/10
was a nice visual experience. i liked it just as much as the first one. no more no less.
i was really hoping they would have broke out Destroyer to battle those elves.
and i just wanted to say Thro's mom was bad ass and would have killed Makelth (however you spell it) easily if it wasn't for his muscle butting in.

2 Guns ~ 6/10
Enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Washington and Wahlberg had great chemistry between them

The Raid 2 - 2.5/5
Severely overrated, the first one is better.

Please explain this one. One of the few movies I would actively go out of my way to not watch again. I'd give it a 3/10. But you are not the first person I've heard give it a rating that makes it seem like it has reedeeming value. I am curious as to how you see it.

Wes Anderson's quirky brand of humor isn't for everyone. He is one of those Director's where there isn't a lot of middle ground with his film's. You're either into them or you're not, personally I love them.

Wes is an unusual director although American he has European sensibilities and I guess that is why I like his quirky sense of humour. I do think that his cinematographer Robert Yeoman is one of the best in the business. Some of the shots in Aquatic are Masterclass. I've only very recently started watching his movies including those two aforementioned last night. I loved Grand Budapest which I got to see in the cinema.
