What you can't see in this pic (and is absolutely amazing) is that Sano nailed the degrading rubber near the alien's "crotch", as well as the ox jaws on the back of the feet. I spent about 2 hours comparing the sculpt to my lifesize and it really is a spectacular piece of art.

can i see a close up of the dome? does yours have a small plastic tag at the very front of it? MIne has a small piece of excess plastic at the front of the dome. I expect I'd have to dremel it off. The problem is that I'm worried it won't look clear when I'm finished cleaning it.

Thank you for the photos Darth much appreciated, can't wait to see your work on this. I wonder if the prepainted versions will be shipped in one piece glued to the base (most likely) or in separate components as I'm a bit nervous come shipping time, even though Roswell protected the busts quite well.

Unfortunately, its going to take me a little longer to finish him. I found the fin had broken bones. So I have to wait for a new one before I can finish his back. Plus, my local hobbu shop is out of my favorite primer.

Here he is until I get the new fin. I guess I can polish the dome and prime/refine the rest of him until then.
