I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

There are many Bettie Page images out there that look like Bettie Page.

The 3D sculpt, the portrait atleast looks way off the likeness of the art print.

The eye's look off on both the art print and the 3D sculpt. The art print looks slightly closer when it comes to likeness.
Does it really matter when the artist for the 2D art is the same as the 3D art? She can do it any way she wants, it's her are either way.

My point was, likeness to Bettie Page. If the likeness is missing, then what's the point?

She has nailed BP likeness so many times, I dont get why the print for the statue is off too. This is just bizarre all the way around.

I love the shoe as the base of this. Stunning.
I also like the true to Bettie look of no full coverage.

Kudos to Olivia. And Kudos to SS for making bank on this.

100%

Of all portraits of BP Olivia has done so far, this one is by far having the weakest likeness. She is usually quite good.

The likeness may not be spot on, but for me it's OK as I find this portrait better looking than most Bettie Page pics

I believe our reaction in general would be quite different if Olivia had not set out to create a statue of BP, and instead had done a statue of a generic pin-up girl from the same period.

When an artist is meant to create an artwork of a famous person, be it an art print or statue, the likeness is paramount. The task would be considered a failure if the likeness is off.
