Also the base is not as bad in person than it looks in pics believe it or not, this again contributed to the scaling of the statue looking so different in person, and its relation to the base etc...(his name on the base is engraved which I did not expect- I thought it was just painted/printed on the base).
The Sideshow pose is amazing, and it is a GREAT statue- no doubt about that, but after seeing both, the Attakus one really does smoke the Sideshow one in all aspects.
The detailing, paintapp and sculpt is just amazing on the Attakus one.
AGREE!!!!!!!!

Kenobi is a well known attakus hater

Well I also think the sculpt and the paintjob are amazing on the attakus one, but both are very great and different.

It is more a question about what line you prefer.

I own and love both - but the SS exclusive version is better in my books - the size, pose, 4 sabers and that cape is simply awesome.

This is the problem with people discussing and debating which statue line is "better". Too many people are company loyal and heavily biased. I have no idea why collectors end up like this. There is no one company that has a better version of every character than another company. If you want the best of each character then you will have to mix, and even then it may just come down to a different pose.

I think this is the case with the Grievious, I don't own a single Sideshow piece and own many Attakus and GG, but I love the pose of the Sideshow Grievious. One of the defining characteristics of General Grievious is his four arms and lightsabers, I don't understand how this was omitted from the Attakus version.

Not like other company,Attkus has no right to choose the pose.....Another companies can make any pose they like to,but no right to Attakus,I don't know why Lucas do it like this...Maybe Attakus is not a US company,so.....I feel its really not fair to Attakus.....

True, I am aware that they LFL has final say on most of thier poses. But that doesn't make up for what I see as a missed oppurtunity, its still unfortunate that it wasn't made in a similar pose to the SS.

I didn't know the other companies were free to choose as they like, I assumed all the companies worked similar to Attakus. If Attakus had total freedom to choose characters and poses, it might too one-sided. Why would anybody ever buy a SS then ?
