I'm in the same boat. Love my Koto version. Still waiting on the right 1/4 scale to come along. Was really hoping this SS one was it.

I'd rather Pay a few hundred more for an XM piece (which you know will have multiple switch outs, a killer base & be limited to 999 or less) than almost $600+shipping for this. the way I see it, if Sideshow doesn't surprise us with the original head back, I'm $600 closer to an XM piece anyway.

I am hoping for less than 600 pcs for the EX. But stats are saying this is a good seller.

It's no different then when they say Low on inventory or just sold out and then more go back up for sale, it's the sales department trying to move more statues...
