Was it the glass that broke or the supports holding the glass? The glass shelves look intact...

I have been going with Bestas but lately have found that i dont like the depth so switching to Stuvas. They are the same width/height and are 19 5/8 deep versus the 15 3/4 inches.
This weekend i am hoping to set stuff up right now my room is in disarray heh
These would be perfect for my omnis and 1/3 statues, but they only come in white.

Do these come with glass doors like the Bestas?

Too much weight on each shelf. The glass shelving is intact, but those little metal support brackets gave way.

70% of my statues are displayed on custom built furniture. It would be impossible otherwise, taking into account the measurements needed for the room while factoring in the large statues.
Yes, it seems like the best option cuz it would be designed specifically for that. However, it's cost prohibited at the moment. I don't think I'll have another choice though. If you don't mind me prying, what ball park are we talking about for some custom work?

Or you can us the two unit one as well.
Yea, I really wanted the Bestas to work, bit they don't for me. I have the IS Sup dio that's 27" wide, the IS Bat dio that's 18" deep & XM MJ dio that's 24" tall. All exceed one of the dimensions limitations. Nevermind trying to find a unit who's all three dimensions fit one, let alone all three.

Yes. I use Glassvik doors from ikea. You have to buy besta hinges with them to attach it to the stuva. They can be used on besta's as well. Mine have a black border on the corners and you can also get white colored borders. You just have to make sure you use the clear glass option when ordering. Im finishing my display in next month or so and will post pictures then.
