I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Thought it was excellent!
After several more viewings I'd like to up my rating to 10/10.
Cap has always been my favorite superhero, so i thought that might make me little biased, but actually i think it made me look at these recent cap films more harshly. I can find no faults with this movie, the Winter Soldier is fantastic.

Wow, you should read some of Ed Brubaker's run on the Captain America comic book. Not lame at all.

Get On Up (2014) - A chronicle of James Brown's rise from extreme poverty to become one of the most influential musicians in history.

The nonlinear narrative added to a hip look which I think other recent similar biopics (The Butler, 42) could have benefitted from. 7/10

celebrated Day of Dredd 2014 by watching Dredd. Still love this movie and fingers crossed one day we might get a sequel.

Transformers 4 7/10 I'm stunned to say I didn't hate this movie. It wasn't nearly as bad as 3, it didn't have as many cringe-y moments and it was overflowing with cool robot effects. I was never a Shia hater, but I did hate his parents, the terrible supporting characters and his two cardboard girlfriends. The girl who looked like Tara Reid was pretty cardboard and so was her boyfriend, but they didn't annoy me which was nice. I'll take it. I'd probably put this in second after the original. It's actually watchable unlike 3.

It's getting hammered by the critics here, but I'm keen to see it, so glad to see your rating. Denzel is very entertaining in bad @ss mode

Really? Haven't read any reviews so went in blind on this. I was very pleasantly surprised. Thats why i stated if you liked Man on Fire you should like this. The homage to Mann is also a nice touch. I'd love to see Washington in a Mann movie.

12 Years a Slave 9/10. Extremely well executed by Steve McQueen. A difficult film to watch for how apologetically they showcased mans capacity for inhumanity towards others. Heartbreaking at times and really makes one wonder how much of the Western world and its economy was built on the backs of slaves.
