Man, that is one cool set-up, like it was meant to be, executed perfectly. Great stuff.

As for Spidey? He's looking mighty fine with that iconic glide, & I suspect the perspective base will simply amaze, (though I'm worried about the pastels?). I should know soon, ................... to be continued.

Honestly, that is one of the coolest displays I have ever seen. That statue has all sorts of win in that setup. I can’t compliment it enough. Did you already have the print when you ordered the statue or did you order the print to pair with the statue? Very curious how you hit on that idea. Amazing!

I had the print already. Its a Juan Ramos print that I actually cut up and modified to fit in that spot. I didnt care for KingPin's big bald head on the print so I cut some off the top and bottom then framed it up. I just love the colors on it so I was determined to make it work.

It was kind of a happy accident as I shuffled statues around the room. Miles was in front of the print before spidey.

I have to say, I understand the indifference with the base its (love/hate) but Spiderman himself will wow you in person. Best 1/4 sculpt to date hands down. Ive owned the previous renditions and this is also the best coloring/paint job thus far.

REALLY appreciate all the kind words on the display guys

Spidey Mishap

Just a word of caution about this statue - the base is pretty unstable. While putting mine together today, it fell over and several pieces broke off. Needless to say, I'm VERY ticked-off about this. Not sure I want to try and glue the pieces back on, since it'll never look quite the same.

Well that sucks. Welcome to the forum though, sorry it's not under better circumstances.

Contact Sideshow. Tell them what happened. They may offer a replacement.
