Are we talking about the original Secret Wars here, or The new Jonathan Hickman version ? I heard that The Original Secret Wars was very medicore and that was being kind...

It's a reprint, so it's the original 1984 series. There isn't a Hickman SW omni.

The original Secret Wars was at least 4 issues to long. The story could have been 6 to maybe 8 issues long and was stretched out to 12 issue - rumor was that Marvel wanted to beat DC to the punch since the word was out about DC releasing the 12 Part Crisis on Infinite Earths and Marvel wanted to put out a 12 part mini series before DC did.
And come to think about it, the Hickman Secret Wars was also about 2 to 3 issues too long as well.

House of M is a good read, but I’ve got the oversized HC of the core story released years ago and I think, personally, that’s good enough without all the tie-ins.

How much are new Omni's when they drop?

If you want to pre-order I would go through CheapGraphicNovels. Instocktrades is good for new releases. They are both way cheaper than retail price which on average for a good sized Omni is $125. $100 for the smaller omnis.

Why are there no Punisher Omnibuses coming ? No reprint, nothing... I have been waiting especially for Aaron Punisher Omnibus reprint like forever...
