I was surprised, I really liked this movie. I wasn't a fan of the originals. Mostly due my age at the time, they scared the crap out of me. But maybe if I watched them now I would feel the opposite. I thought they did a good job with this one. It wasn't over the top. Kind of shocked to see Jennifer Ehle in this movie. It really isn't her style. Jackie Earle Haley provided some great comedic content. I love his work.

Yeah, the original RoboCop is a classic, but lots of disturbing imagery for younger audiences. The scene where the toxic avenger meets the car. Yikes!
The new movie surprised me by doing a lot to stand on its own. I wasn't constantly comparing the two, but rather went along for the ride with a fresh look.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Big Hero Six - 8/10
Not as good as the Incredibles (which I would give a 9.5/10) but still quite entertaining.

Big Hero 6 - 8.5/10
Not sure why anyone would compare this to The Incredibles. Aside from both having a superhero theme the similarities end there. Big Hero 6 had a surprising amount of heart. I expected a decent story and spectacle, but I was a little caught off guard by how moving it could be. Excellent action sequences and a lot of laughs to be had, but it's short running time and some unnecessarily cheesy lines keep it from a higher score. Still very highly recommended.
