It's tough to say what's canon here. SFIV appears to show them roughly the same height, even after factoring in posture. But in most literature, Balrog is a good 5-6 inches taller. That makes sense, since Gouken and Gouki are brothers, and are likely to be within a few inches of each other.
Strictly looking at the statues, Balrog isn't as hunched as his in-game posture, and Gouken's stance is wider than his standing posture. Jopp - I think that only the arm positioning was taken from Gouken's walking frames, not necessarily his feet.

i agree zen, his stance looks much wider than in game. rog is listed at 6 6 and gouken 6 1. between that stance, the angle of this photo and the one to two inches in height, there may not be as big of a scale difference as it seems.
in this photo, the height on gouken looks small, but I'm guessing it could be the photo.
it doesn't really help he's next to guile either.

looking at the stats, its listed as a 16.5 in statue, while rog is "roughly" 17.
either he's a bit short, balrog is bigger, or this photo is playing tricks on our eyes.
i still think he looks good though, like that pose.

I need to correct my statement regarding their postures in-game. After looking further, both have bent knees, so they would straighten out about the same. But Balrog is severely hunched where Gouken is not. That's definitely several inches in height right there if he unrolled his hump.
The image in my mind of Gouken is like others here though. Gouken's just a little taller than average, but he seems even bigger in my memory.

I believe the 6'1" in the wiki listing is incorrect.
Much as Capcom's own heights and weights were ridiculously off in SFA3.
Like really off!
All that aside, the statues shouldn't look like the don't even belong together. If Balrog makes him look like that, I guess I won't be displaying him against Sagat as planned.
Maybe vs Chun Li.
Hopefully it's the angle of the photo

I don't think it's the angle, looks like the top of his head goes up to M. Bison's shoulder. Scale is probably PCS's biggest fault, look at new "1/4" Ryu next to "1/4" Raiden and Lui Kang

You can't compare compare both lines as SF is a bit smaller than a 1:4 when MK Klassic is a bit taller.
