For me their is only one Robocop movie and it's the first one. I just pretend the other two weren't even made. Cain was a ridiculous character in my opinion. So for me, I have no interest in a 1:4 Cain. Even if he was made it would still be a pass for me.

I really can't see this selling. Robocp is the only design worthy of merchandise.

Well considering Alex had a low ES, is part of a long line of statues, is part of the world famous Street Fighter series (and thus is still relevant), and was the main character of SF3, I think it's a terrible comparison.
Judge Death would probably be a better comparison. He still hasn't sold out. Cain would have to be massive unless he wasn't in scale with Robocop and he's from the highly inferior Robocop 2.

I think they'd be plenty of people interested in Cain. The big problem is how to do him. He's not really suited to the traditional polystone statue design. Very top heavy and thin waisted with lots of small details. The Hot Toys Cain that was touted a while ago is probably going to be the only option in any decent scale.
And whilst not as good as the original, I thought Robo 2 rocked.

disagree on most of your points, first off Alex is pretty much a nobody to the majority of folks, just because he's attached to the street fighter name means nothing, so is Skullomania for cryin out loud and nobody cares about him either. I like part 3 but most folks simply don't so to say he's relevant is a massive over statement..
and for the record I've always preferred part 2, it's a dumber movie but it's dumber on purpose, Robocop takes itself too damn seriously for as dumb a movie as it is in reality

Highly inferior??? are you talking about part 3?
Plus Cain is way more popular than Alex.

I liked Robocop 2. Good movie. But Cain doesn't compare to Clarence Boddicker.
But he'd make a better statue.
And Robocop 1 is by no means a "dumb movie" (no offense MrYac). The original is brilliant!
It's a total satire on the violence of humanity. People think of it as a dopey 80's action movie. But watch it again, pay attention to the News reports. The fake commercials.
The film is exceptionally witty.
Robocop was a very smart film. IMO, the new movie doesn't stand a chance against it. But I hope it'll be good.
I'm excited to see what Jerry has in store. I can't imagine what they'll need to do to match/surpass the sculpt on the HotToys offering.
My God is that thing a masterpiece!
Maybe the scale will allow them new opportunities.
