The new Deathdealer in swamp is just a lifeless pose, they had a lot more better choices to pick from, I will still pickup the kit, and I don't know how Alex Dark kingdom paintjob got rejected, lately not great choices or decision's coming from the Frazetta camp.

I preferred the Castro paint job too. You can see some of his other work including Julie Bell's Ecstasy here

http://alexcastromodels.blogs.com/ph...ver/cover.html

I do know from talking to Frank Jr on the phone that they wanted both a "loose" sculpt and a comenserate paint job and also the paint job we got was nothing like what he had accepted. Alex's style is more in tune with a different type of sculpt. That said I liked his version much better than the one Frank and Frank Jr selected, but that could just be a matter of personal taste. If I wanted to nit pick the Castro job, about the only things I can see is that for some reason he inverted the cape, red on top dark on the bottom, where as the painting is opposite. And I suppose the helmet could have been a little more gold and the snake a little more green but.........I think it was really a great job in my opinion.
