I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

They aren't the size of 6" action figures. Catwoman is around 7.25" not including the base. These aren't any different than the B&W statues...

Heck, the DCUO Catwoman towers over the B&W Catwoman. Admittedly, the B&W one was out of scale with the "typical" B&W statue, but still.... the DCUO Catwoman would fit right in, scale-wise, with the rest.

Not that I can't understand why you'd think they were smaller - that was my first impression, too, but I think that was mainly because I had them displayed next to some larger statues. As soon as I put a B&W next to one, I saw they were the same.

Thanks for sorting that out, much appreciated. I don't get a chance to see DCD pieces in person very often (other than after buying them... ), so I rely on the boards to help inform my purchasing decisions. Was interesting in picking up some of these as companion pieces for my Batman B+W's, which is why the size comment above threw me a bit, so cheers for the clarification and pics. The ones I want are now back on my buy list...

I look at it this way ... these pieces are about 1/2 the size of a Bowen FS, and at $80 to $85, you're paying half the price of a regular FS ... so what's the beef?

If you don't like the size scale and would prefer them to be larger ... that's one thing, be you can't argue that you're not getting what you pay for, because in context of other statues on the market, these are pretty aptly priced.

Feel the same way about the DC B&W pieces?

It's called personal preference ... while you might not enjoy them, there are others that do. I'm sure that if we look hard enough, there are probably a few items in your collection that some people would consider crap too.

Looks like my assessment as to the size was off. When I saw Catwoman at my LCS it was in a case with the CGotDCU statues. As you can see Catwoman is very petite which likely skewed my perception. Sorry about that fellas.
