Good call. It may be worth renting if only to see Eva Mendes. She is SMOKIN' hot in this movie. She's the only redeeming quality, IMO.

Why wouldn't I buy it if the movie is good? I didn't hear much about the movie but it looked interesting when I saw the trailers. I didn't know much about the watchmen characters, but it didn't stop me from enjoying the movie.
