Well, since this is the thread for Civil War #2, beyond Spidey;s unmasking, it was Cool to see Daredevil, but who is he? With Matt in the clank with Frank Castle who is posing as DD? Has it been mention somewhere else, could it be possible Parker is a double agent as, however it has been said that Danny Rand (Iron Fist) would be involved with Civil War....seeing DD was the highlight of this issue IMO.....

After 30 years, I'd say it's extremely difficult to come up with good, character driven storylines. They've done just about everything. Even X-men is revisiting the Apocalypse 4 horseman stuff.

This issue was excellent. As far as people believing that Parker was out of character regarding his unmasking...it's called character growth.
I honestly thought that parker would not go through with it, but it shows that he has matured as character.

when they find the scarlet witch she will hex everything back to "normal"
that will allow marvel to unmarry spidey and put him back to being wanted by the police and not trusted my the public like it was when the spidey stories were worth reading and just for the hell of it have roger stern write spidey again some of the best stories ever in the wall crawlers history IMO

Frank!
That was awesome!
Before everyone gets caught up in the Spidey unmasking......
ask yourselves TWO things........
#1 WHY was he in the OLD suit for this unmasking?
#3 Why was he holding the mask in his left hand? We all know Peter Parker is Right handed!
With all the S.H.I.E.L.D. involvement, Can anyone say LMD?
Is THAT what Reed is so pumped up about? Give the government high tech LMD's that appear as the heroes have turned themselves in, but ultimately the heroes will have control over them and "stage" battles to try to capture them, but ultimately never get caught?
Well...all I can say in closing is...Civil War Three: The Return of Thor! I'll be there!

I'm not too disturbed about the Spidey unmasking. In fact, I thought about it for a while after I just finished reading the issue, and I don't think I would have even rather seen him keep his identity secret... I'm totally ambivalent. If the writing holds up, this will work, only time will tell. Plus, I have a feeling that the things that happen in the early issues here might not last come series close. Who knows.
Aside from that, this issue is top-notch, just like the first. I love the gravity of the whole thing - Reed's keeping secrets from SUE, Iron-Man's self-doubt, Wolverine's subtle separation from the rest of the X-Men, all of it. This is great. Love it!
